Washington National Opera presents:
Jun Kaneko Exhibition
April 9 - May 19, 2014
Hall of Nations

Renowned Japanese American visual artist and painter Jun Kaneko, whose stunning mystical sets and costumes are featured in Washington National Opera's spring production of The Magic Flute, will bring an exhibition of his ceramic sculptures to the Hall of Nations this April and May. Balancing elements of both American and Japanese aesthetics, the installation will feature pieces from his series of HEADS, Dangos (meaning "rounded form" or "dumpling" in Japanese), and Tanuki (a mischievous shape-shifter, but most commonly portrayed as a large, stout badger).

This FREE event is open to the public from 10 a.m. until the building closes.

All events and artists subject to change without prior notice.
