A Concert to Honor

Kennedy Center Concert Hall, 7:30 p.m.

Remarks by military leaders including Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and a performance of Brahms' German Requiem will honor the 9/11 Pentagon victims and survivors, their families, and emergency response personnel, as well as the nearly 6,000 fallen military service members whose lives have been lost in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. The Cathedral Choir joins the Marine Chamber Orchestra and the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters.

Performance Timing: Approximately two hours

NOTE: This event is By Invitation Only and all tickets have been reserved. Patrons may pick up their NEW tickets at the Hall of Nations box office, beginning at 6 p.m. on the day of the performance. For further information, please call (202) 537-2300.
