Children and young adults have what it takes to come up with innovative solutions to the environmental and sustainability challenges we face as a global community. Nordic kids realize that they need to act if they want to shape the future in a positive way. All over the world, young people are putting their energy and creativity into projects and initiatives that are making big differences in their homes, schools, local communities, and beyond. For Nordic Cool 2013, the Kennedy Center has invited young people from the Nordic countries to submit video clips showing how they are making a difference in shaping a sustainable future. Selected clips will be shown in a special installation created for the festival.
