About

Jesper Kongshaug, Denmark's most innovative lighting designer, recreates the effect of the Northern Lights on all four sides of the Kennedy Center's façade. Bringing the effects of the famed aurora borealis to Washington, D.C., the mesmerizing effect will be visible for the duration of the festival, each evening from 5:30 to 11 p.m. This installation was commissioned by the Kennedy Center for Nordic Cool 2013.
