Daisy Mayhem

Rani Arbo swiped the name of the band, daisy mayhem, from a defunct Minneapolis rock band and later found out that it was the name of a recumbent tandem bicycle manufactured in Illinois. The band has shared stages with Doc Watson, Arlo Guthrie, Tuck & Patti, Bela Fleck, Alison Krauss, Alison Brown, and Maura O’Connell. They have recorded with Tim O’Brien, Louise Taylor, Brooks Williams, Mark Erelli, Dana Robinson, and The Neilds. Rani Arbo (vocals/fiddle) began singing in a New York City cathedral choir when she was seven. She has sung classical choral music from nine centuries and traditional and contemporary folk music from several continents.
