Cliff Hines

Cliff Hines is one of the leading voices in progressive New Orleans music. His compositions defy genre and categorization, steeped in the New Orleans tradition of combining familiar musical elements to create new sounds and atmospheres. He attended the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) and the University of New Orleans (UNO) and also spent a few years as the guitar instructor at NOCCA. Throughout 2012, Hines toured with The Mike Dillon Band as their bassist/guitarist/keyboardist, and was featured on their debut release Urn. He also has shared the stage with such artists as Marco Benevento, Stanton Moore, Skerik, Johnny Vidacovich, James Singleton, Helen Gillet, members of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Maurice Brown, Khris Royal, and many more.
