Laura Peterson Choreography

Laura Peterson Choreography is a New York City based dance company creating work that challenges the limits physicality and redefines performance spaces. Laura’s work is deeply influenced by the visual art of the 1970’s and since 2007, has included visually stunning installations that are developed simultaneously with the choreography. Her work frequently employs repetition, iteration, and mathematical patterns as a means of expanding her concepts. Each dance is an environment, a concept; highly refined and rigorously researched. Laura Peterson Choreography has had residencies and commissions throughout New York and other cities.
