Darcie Deaville

Born in Ontario, Canada, Darcie Deaville spent her childhood moving frequently throughout the United States and Canada as her father pursued a career as a helicopter pilot. At the age of sixteen, Deaville struck out on her own, beginning her full-time music career as a busker on the streets of Toronto. She now resides in Austin, Texas. Deaville has worked as a musical director, multi-character actor and musician in a variety of theater productions, including Always, Patsy Cline and an off-Broadway production of Woody GuthrieÆs American Song. She has also appeared and recorded with many other artists including Tish Hinojosa, Butch Hancock, Peter Rowan, Jimmy LaFave, Kelly Willis and Ani DiFranco.
