December Song

An eclectic musical celebration of the season, December Song features Wendy Lane Bailey and Joanne Schmoll with musical direction by James Fitzpatrick. December Song presents familiar songs and new music with contemporary takes on holiday madness. The audience rediscovers beloved gems such as I Wonder As I Wander and It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, while finding new loves like John Bucchino’s Grateful and Maury Yeston’s New Words. The combination of Wendy Lane’s warm vocal interpretations and Joanne’s lilting soprano, along with James’ able accompaniment creates a magical winter’s evening for all. Joanne Schmoll, singer, actress, cabaret artist, has appeared in A Little Night Music in the Kennedy Center’s Sondheim Celebration and in other theaters including Arena Stage, Olney Theatre Center, and various theatres across the country.
