Florence Martin

Florence Martin was born in 1938, at her grandfather’s house in Maine’s St. John Valley, near St. Agathe, only a few miles from the Canadian border. Although the St. John River divides Maine from New Brunswick politically, French-speaking Acadian culture lines both sides of the border.
