Clarence Fountain and the Blind Boys of Alabama

The Blind Boys of Alabama have been together for over 50 years and continue to bring audiences to their feet with their foot-stomping jubilee style of gospel music. The group records for the House of Blues label and has appeared on the television series Beverly Hills 90210, as well as The Conan OÆBrien Show. In addition, they have performed on Broadway with Morgan Freeman in The Gospel at Colonus, and have given rousing performances at the White House, the Olympics, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and The National Folk Festival among many others. They have also toured the globe performing in Europe, Japan and Australia. Their 100-year retrospective of gospel and spiritual music has been a continual crowd-pleaser in this country and abroad.
