The Gypsy Strings

Formed in the fall of 1994, the mission of The Gypsy Strings is to bring the music of Europe, Russia, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East to local audiences. Born and educated in Hungary, composer and musician Zoltan Racz (accordion, keyboards) earned a bronze medal in the 1963 Accordion World Championship. Serving as an international broadcaster and recording engineer for Voice of America, Mr. Racz maintains an active schedule as a musician and actor. He recorded, engineered, and mastered the ensembleÆs first release.
