HANUKKAH CELEBRATION

LIGHTS A HANUKKAH 5761 CELEBRATION IN SONG directed by Cantor Aaron Marcus James Jenkins, Piano Andrea Glaser, Flute Larry Glaser, Guitar Samantha Schasberger, Oboe featuring The Keshet Chorale B'nai Shalom of Olney Adult Choir Hazamir B'nai Shalom of Olney and Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School Combined Children's Choirs The Keshet Chorale is the Washington D.C. Jewish Community Center choral group, which was founded in April, 1998, and is comprised of men and women from the greater Washington/Maryland Jewish community. Keshet is a Hebrew name meaning "rainbow," and it reflects the varied backgrounds and professions of the members of the choral group as well as the colorful spectre of their repertoire of Jewish music, which includes choral arrangements of modern and traditional Israeli, Hassidic, and liturgical songs.
