Steve 'The Whistler' Herbst

Steve “The Whistler” Herbst has been dazzling audiences with his artistic whistling for over 45 years. His stylistic range, which encompasses classical music, jazz, blues, pop and Broadway, is matched by a remarkable three-octave range on his "instrument". Steve has been featured on numerous television shows including, NBC TV's "The Today Show", ABC TV's "Eyewitness News" and "World News Now", CNN, UPN, WB Networks, FOX News (TV segment), and BBC (London). He began whistling as a young boy and started whistling in concerts while a singing soloist with the University of Pennsylvania Glee Club. His love for choral music has pervaded much of his adult life, borne out by his 24 year association with the University Glee Club of New York, as a baritone and whistler.
