The Howard University Choir

The Howard University Choir has performed in the International Choral Festival in Rome; the Music Festival in Krakow, the International Choral Festival in Tokyo; the International Choral Festival in Canada; the first international Festival of University Choirs in Valencia, as well as in concerts in New York, California, and Washington, and they have toured the Caribbean, Africa and Europe. In France they performed in the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. One of the most outstanding choral groups in this country, the Choir has also performed at the White House at the invitation of Presidents Ford, Carter, and Reagan. One of those performances was the nationally-televised NBC special, ôIn Performance at The White House with Leontyne Price.ö The Choir also performed at the opening inaugural concert for President Clinton and at the memorial service for The Honorable Thurgood Marshall.
