Inca Son

Cesar Villalobos L., director/sikus/lead singer/drums Santos Alva, guitar Sergio Espinoza, kena Alfredo Velasquez, charango Eugenio Huanca, percussion Through traditional music and dance of the Andes Mountains of Peru and Latin America, INCA SON enhances its audiences' knowledge about the riches of Andean Culture. Dressed in authentic and colorful Inca attire, the group performs songs and dances with special importance, meaning or background in Andean folklore. They rearrange traditional songs to create a unique style and also write original compositions and use over 40 instruments, excluding the stringed instruments, all of which are made by the musicians themselves. Several of the songs from their last three recordings are hits in Peru-including "Ascope, Tierra del Amanecer," "Cholita Tania," "El Abuelito," and "Inti Libertad" by Cesar Villalobos.
