Led by jazz bassist and D.C. native John Previti, this tribute is in honor of two great legends in jazz music—Charles Mingus and Thelonious Monk. In conjunction with the 18th Annual Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition (a ticketed event presented later the same evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Eisenhower Theater).
