Juliet Wyers

Writing and performing for only the last 3 years, Juliet Wyers’ acousto-pop has recently popped into notice in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. At the historic Aladdin Theater, opening for Catie Curtis, 108 of an audience of 500 signed her mailing list. She also appeared at the Aladdin with Canadian singer/songwriter Ferron, garnered emphatic praise from Peter Yarrow, of Peter Paul and Mary, a founder of the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas, and had a song featured on KINK-FM102, and has received regular support by KBOO-FM 90.7. Lyrically driven, Wyers’ songs shine with melodies that reflect the words’ meanings, and hop with rhythmic life – she says she was raised on soul music/funk, 1960’s folk, and Broadway musicals.
