Kir Stefan Choir

In cooperation with The Embassy of FR Yugoslavia The Kennedy Center is proud to present an excellent group of young performers from Serbia and their repertoire of valuable classical, spiritual and traditional songs. “Kir Stefan Serb” Choir was founded in October 1993 in Smederevo, Serbia. The ages of the 22 choir members range from 14 to 21 years old. Their repertoire includes some of the masterpieces of Serbian musical tradition, from the 15th to 20th century. The choir has already received many medals at international competitions all over the world, including USA, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic and Israel.
