Landon Symphonette

The Landon Symphonette, now in its 14th season, is a unique group of talented musicians from Landon School and other area schools and colleges playing together with seasoned professionals, in an unrivaled mentoring relationship. Approximately one third of the Landon Symphonette is made up of professional performers, another third is students and teachers, and the final third are students from more than 50 area schools have participated in this outstanding program, with perhaps 10-15 programs represented at any one concert. All must have achieved a certain level of competence and expertise. In sponsoring this concert series, Landon offers the opportunity to other schools in the community the chance to have their students join in this special collaborative effort.
