The Levine School of Music

About the Honors Program The Levine School of Music Honors Program is a merit-based program designed to enrich the musical development of Levine’s exceptionally gifted students by providing opportunities for students to enhance their musical education, gain inspiration through a community of like-minded students, and represent Levine as ambassadors of excellence. For the 2012-2013 school year, the Honors Program consists of 17 Junior Honors students (ages 8-12) and 26 Senior Honors students (ages 13-18), representing the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. About the Levine School of Music Levine School of Music, the Washington, D.C. region’s preeminent center for music education, is a welcoming community where children and adults find lifelong inspiration and joy through learning, performing, listening to, and participating with others in music.

Levine School of Music’s Honors Program is a merit based program designed to enrich the musical development of Levine’s exceptionally gifted students. For 2010-11, there are 16 high school students representing the District, Maryland, and Virginia, including four students who make up the John S. Martin Honors String Quartet.
