Robert Lighthouse

Robert Lighthouse, a native of Sweden, settled in DC at the end of the ‘80s after working his way around the country trying to absorb as much as he could about Delta Blues in places like Chicago's Maxwell Street and New Orleans. In DC, he established a cult following as a street musician before landing a steady gig at City Blues Cafe. He first showed up on CD on "The Blues You Would Just Hate To Lose Vol I" and his debut solo disc, "Drive-Thru Love"(ROR003) has been hailed as "a time warp visit to Mississippi." His primary influences are Jimi, Muddy and Dr. Ross.
