The school’s four sites in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia offer instrumental and vocal instruction and ensembles as well as classes in theory, history, composition and music technology. Although the core of the school’s curriculum is classical music, Levine celebrates the cultural diversity of the Washington community with programs including African, jazz and contemporary music.
