David Lonkevich Quartet

David Lonkevich is a solo, chamber and orchestral flutist currently living in Washington, DC. He has performed with the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, National Theater Orchestra, Merrieweather Post Orchestra, Washington Bach Consort, Cathedral Choral Society, and Contemporary Music Forums. He has appeared with Jessye Norman on a PBS holiday special, and has also performed solo recitals at the Kennedy Center, the embassies of Germany and France and at the Anderson House Museum. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Michael Patterson received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from The Catholic University of America and is a frequent performer in Washington, having appeared in recital at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, the Terrace Theater, Constitution Hall, The Barns at Wolf Trap, the Phillips Collection Recital Series, the Anderson House, the Lyceum, the Corcoran Gallery, the National Gallery of Arts Series, and at many embassies and universities in the area.
