Mercy Creek

Singer/guitarist Cheryl Nystrom and songwriting partner and drummer Jim Ball weave tribal drum patterns with lightning fast guitar rhythms. The lyrics are intelligent, the melodies catchy, and Mercy Creek songs have become favorites for fans both on disk and at shows. Three years after forming, this Virginia band has now recorded two exceptional and independent albums. The duo has performed on a diverse range of stages from large festivals and auditoriums, to coffee houses and bars. Mercy Creek singer Cheryl Nystrom was selected by The Music Outlook Magazine critic “On Tour with The Rockdude” as the “best new female vocalist for year 2000.
