The Montana Mandolin Society

In 1902, Bozeman, Montana, had a 28-member Bozeman Mandolin and Guitar Club. The ensemble was made up of local businessmen, students, and musicians. They performed at the Bozeman Opera House and at Montana State College. In 1999, a group of Bozeman musicians resurrected the Bozeman Mandolin and Guitar Club effort into the Montana Mandolin Society. The Society was invited to perform at the Charlotte Martin Theater in the Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington.
