Mosaic Youth Theatre Singers (The Kennedy Center)

Mosaic Youth Theatre Singers

Founded in 1992, Mosaic Youth Theatre is a multicultural arts organization whose mission is to develop young performers through theatrical and musical training. The group has more than 250 actors, singers, writers and technicians ages 12 to 19. Mosaic is currently housed at the Historic Ft. Wayne in Detroit, but Sperling said he wants to find a permanent home to accommodate more students. For 75 youths, the program culminates in an intensive, weeklong summer residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
