Lisa Moscatiello

Lisa Moscatiello was born in 1966 and grew up in Arlington, VA. She absorbed her parents’ broad musical tastes, which included Leonard Bernstein, Sarah Vaughan, Puccini, and folk albums by Peter, Paul and Mary and Joan Baez. Becoming involved in the Irish music scene in Washington during the early 1980s, Moscatiello was greatly influenced by the D.C.-based band, The Irish Tradition.
