Mosaic Quintet

Originally from New York City, Sam Turner has worked as a percussionist traveling nationally and internationally with legendary artists such as Lionel Hampton, Machito, Freddie Hubbard, Randy Weston and the Don Pullen African Brazilian Connection. Turner has been involved in television shows (the Kennedy Center Awards, Today Show, Live at Five) and Broadway shows (“The Wiz,” “Sophisticated Ladies,” and “Sarava”). His recording credits include Getting to Know You (Sonny Sumter), After Midnight (Dick Morgan Quintet), Every Corner (David Schumacher), The Journey (Fred Foss), Collage (Imani & First Prayer), and many others. Turner currently resides in the Washington, D.C.
