NSO Summer Music Institute

Multiple ensembles perform a wide range of music including Britten’s Simple Symphony and Grieg’s Holberg Suite by a string ensemble, Gounod’s Petite Symphonie by a woodwind ensemble, and performances by a flute/harp trio as well as a brass ensemble.

SMI students play chamber music works by Dvorák, Schubert, and others.
