Phillip Carter and the Sounds of Victory

Phillip Carter and The Sounds of Victory (SOV) began their spiritual journey in 1997 when they recorder their first album “Bridging The Gap I” which topped local charts and received a lot of national attention. IN 1998, Phillip Carter and the SOV recorded their second live album “Bridging The Gap PT II,” which put them on the national map to stay. In July of 2001, they recorded their third live album entitled “Confession” which is due for a July 2002 release. On August 6, 2001 Phillip Carter and SOV were given special recognitions for their ministry in music at the MCI Center by Mayor Anthony Williams. This group is composed of musicians, who not only sing, but also they are choir directors and church leaders all across the Washington DC area and abroad.
