Tony Powell

Tony Powell is a 1995 graduate of The Juilliard School of Music. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., he is a composer, choreographer, filmmaker, photographer, painter, graphic designer and sculptor. He began playing the trumpet and piano at age 5 and he toured Europe for six months as an actor/singer at age ten in the musical Raisin, where he received his first exposure to orchestral arrangement.
