The Ravello Festival Duo

Mauro Tortorelli, Violin Costantino Catena, Piano The celebrated duo from the renowned Ravello Music Festival in Campania, Italy, return to Washington as part of the Artis International festival, “Ravello in America.” The duo has performed chamber music concerts in many European capitals. Their most recent CD, which presents the complete works of Franz Liszt for violin and piano, was released by Phoenix. Mauro Tortorelli studied under Franco Gulli at the Siena Music Academy, and has also performed as a solist with many orchestras. He is currently on the string faculty of the Italian state conservatory, Vibo Valentia.
