Hugo Arrevillaga is a director and theater actor, born in Mexico City on April 1, 1975. He has lived at the Farallón Campsite, Veracruz, Mexico; Rosarito, Baja California North, Mexico; San Francisco,
California; Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; and Mexico City. He studied six semesters of international trade and a semester of economics at the Monterrey Technological Institute. He earned a degree in acting at the University Center of Theater of the National Autonomous University of Mexico from 1997 to 2002, where he studied with Esther Seligson, José Ramón Enríquez, Sandra Félix, Jorge Ávalos, Emma
Dib, Miguel Flores, Antonio Castro, Raúl Zambrano, Eduardo Contreras Soto, and Boris Schoemann, among others.
He has directed more than 20 plays with Tapioca Inn Company, among which are Tideline, Forests, Scorched, and Heaven by Wajdi Mouawad; Willy Protágoras Encerrado en el Baño and Pacamambo, both also by Mr.
