Una Thorleifsdottir

Una Thorleifsdottir graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2004 with a M.A. in theater (directing); prior she studied drama and theatre arts at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and French and culture at Université de Provence, Aix-Marseille, in France. Her major productions as a director include Harmsaga, a new play by Mikael Torfason at the National Theatre of Iceland; Nú er himneska sumarid komid (Now the heavenly summer is here), a new play by Sigtryggur Magnason at the Arbaer Museum; Óraland (Fantasyland), a devised performance co-authored with the playwright Jón Atli Jónasson at the IAA in 2012; Brádum hata ég Thig (Soon I will hate you), a new play by Sigtryggur Magnason at the IAA in 2010; and Gengid á vit sögunnar (Walking Towards History), in collaboration with START ART at Reykjavik's Arts Festival in 2009.
