Ruthie and the Wranglers

Based in the Washington, D.C., area, Ruthie and the Wranglers specialize in American roots music. With their last release, LifeÆs Savings, and their debut album Wrangler City, they joined artists like The Mavericks, Steve Earle, BR5-49, Alison Krauss, Robert Earl Keen, and Johnny Cash in the top 20 of the Americana Radio Charts. In February 2000, the band was awarded five Washington Area Music Awards: 1999 Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as Best Country Group and Best Country Album.
