Jorge Saade-Scaff

Jorge Saade-Scaff began studying violin at the age of six at the "Antonio Neumane" National Conservatory of Music. He studied with Lemtao Erendi, concertmaster of the Tallin Symphony Orchestra in Tallin, Estonia, and Andrei Podgorsi, Director of the Gensin Institute in Moscow, Russia. He is a cum laude graduate from the University of Miami where he studied with violinist Thomas Moore and violist Pamela McConnell. As of 1995, he was the only Ecuadorian and Latin American accepted at the Mozarteum Institute in Salzburg, Austria, to study with violin virtuoso Ruggiero Ricci. Saade is a frequent soloist with the Pan American Symphony Orchestra of Washington, D.
