Sagit Sherman (vocals) was born in Ramat Gan, Israel. As soloist of the Air Force entertainment band, she performed in Israel at Heichal Hatarbut, The Logus Club, and the City of Beer Festival in Tel Aviv. In the US, Ms Sherman studied as a scholarship student at the New School University Jazz program in New York and performed in various venues from New York and Boston to Los Angles. She is currently the leader of her own Jazz quintet which performs throughout the nation.
Mattan Klein (flute) was born and raised in Jerusalem and completed his studies at the Berklee College of Music. He has performed with Berklee faculty members and guest artists such as Billy Childs, Giovanni Hildalgo and Victor Mendoza. Klein has toured Europe, Brazil, and America leading his original jazz-fusion group. He was also co-founder and bandleader of the "Massa U'Mattan" trio. Klein was a winner of the year 200 John Lennon Songwriting Contest under the category of Jazz Composition.
Yoav Polachek (piano) grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel. He served in the Israeli Navy following his military service, and was involved in major theatrical productions, including Peter Pan and Les Miserables. After receiving his Bachelors Degree from Berklee College of Music, he returned to Israel and worked with leading artists. He was also involved in composing music for the film industry and wrote scores for numerous TV features. After completing his Masters Degree at NYU, Polachek has worked actively as a jazz pianist in New York and as an internet audio specialist for andante.com.
Itamar Ziegler (bass) was born and raised in Ramat Gan, Israel, He received musical training from Mr. Arik Shapira and Mr. Alon Nadel. In Israel Mr. Ziegler played with Ronnie Peterson's blues band which collaborated with Rami Kleinstein, Mazi Cohen, and Meir Ariel. He was invited to play with blues guitarist Oz Noi and Hiram Bullok (guitarist with Sting, Miles Davis, Billy Joel, James Brown and others). In New York Mr. Ziegler played with Hip Hop Group Sideffect with Reggae singer Tomer Yosef and is a member of the 'Pinknoise' and 'The Blam' groups.
Yuval Lion (drums) grew up in Tel Aviv. He served in the Israel Air Force Orchestra and played with many artists on the Israeli scene. In New York his original drumming style has made him one of the busiest players on the rock-funk scene, performing with artists such as Milo Z., Moe Holmes, Warner Brothers recording artist Lizzy Wes, and Superlux.
