Annie Sidley Band

Nominated twice for both “Best R&B Vocalist” and “Best Song” by the Washington Area Music Association, Annie Sidley has proven herself an accomplished composer as well as one of the best R&B vocalists around. Sidley has toured the East Coast opening for national acts such as WAR, Chuck Brown and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, just to name a few. She’s played large festivals (National Capital BBQ Battle and Red River Revel Festival), concerts and clubs and has amassed a respectable following in the DC Metropolitan area. Critical recognition and acclaim have been overwhelmingly positive regarding her first CD, “Other Side of the Sun,” and her recent album, “History,” just released in September 2001. Sidley just signed a major management contract with Gerald Scott from CD Enterprises, which manages Mya and Erykah Badu.
