Stanley Thurston and the Celebration Choir

The commanding Stanley Thurston and the Celebration Choir performs uplifting and powerful songs of praise to round out the Center's Gospel Celebration. The Celebration Choir returns to the Kennedy Center Gospel Celebration under the direction of Stanley Thurston, who has served as music director for Spirit of Gospel, NSO in Your Neighborhood concerts, and the On Common Ground concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra. He has also served as music director with WPAS Men and Women of Gospel.
