Thomas Rosenkranz

Thomas Rosenkranz is a pianist with interests seeped in the music of our time, encompassing the classical canon and improvisation through the latest musical developments of the Avant-Garde. His talents have led to performances at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, 92 Street Y, Miller Theatre, and the Knitting Factory in New York City, and abroad in Canada, Taiwan, and Japan. His performances have been broadcast worldwide as part of WGBH Boston Program, Art of the States. He has collaborated with such distinguished composers such as John Adams, George Crumb, and Frederic Rzewski. His discography includes the music of Steve Reich for the Nonesuch label with the group Alarm Will Sound, and the premiere recording of Mark Applebaum’s Omnibus Etude on the Tzadik label.
