The U.S. Army Field Band Chamber Ensembles

Staff Sergeant Meghan Whittier, soprano, earned a Bachelor of Music in voice performance and a Master of Music in choral conducting from George Mason University. SSG Whittier has performed as a soloist with the Washington Women's Chorus, the Georgetown Chorale, and the National Symphony, as well as the Charlotte, Nashville, and Atlanta Symphonies. She frequently sings with the Shrine Choir of the Basilica of the National Shrine, Saint Catherine of Siena Choir, and has also sung with the Schola of the Cathedral of Saint Matthew in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Soldiers’ Chorus, she taught choral and instrumental music in private high schools for several years in the Diocese of Arlington and the Archdiocese of Washington, D.
