We're About 9

Pat Klink - vocals, guitars, djembe Katie Graybeal - vocals, bass, acoustic guitar Brian Gundersdorf - vocals, acoustic guitar The story of We’re About 9 starts with the trio meeting at an open mic in Ellicott City, MD. Two years later, despite college and days jobs, they found themselves on the main stage of The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Since that time they have performed at The Clearwater Revival, The Point, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Jammin Java, Institute of Musical Traditions, Minstrel Coffeehouse and Acoustic Café. Accolades include: Falcon Ridge Top Voted Showcase (2002) NERFA Formal Showcase Artist (2002, WAMMIE nominations for “Best New Artist” (2001) and Best Contemporary Folk Group (2001 and 2002); Plowshares Songwriting Contest Finalist (2003); and New Song Festival Song Contest Finalist (2003).
