The Westerleys (The Kennedy Center)

The Westerleys

The Westerleys were drawn together in 1993 by a shared love of songwriting and harmony singing. Ever since, the joy of their performances has drawn a loyal following to their shows in their native San Francisco bay area, as well as across the country in towns like Austin, Taos, Boulder and Salt Lake City. When asked, they describe the music they offer as acoustic folk-pop. It has alternatively been called "Country without the twang," "Acoustic Country," and "Bluegrass Pop."The Westerleys are fronted by the singer-songwriter duo of Nancy Terzian and Doug Blumer.
