Steve Wolf & Swing Speak
After years of backing top local and national performers, Steve Wolf, Tim Ford, Barry Hart and Bruce Swain formed Swing Speak. Their repertoire covers the full range of American jazz, with a touch of Latin and R&B.
Bassist Steve Wolf has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe with D.C. area notables Danny Gatton, Tom Principata, The Nighthawks, Kathy King, Catfish Hodge, Ron Holloway and others. He has also backed up Chuck Barry, the Coasters and Bo Diddly, Doctor John and Clarence Clemmons. As a performer and producer, Wolf has an impressive list of recording credits.

After years of monthly forays to New York for piano lessons, Tim switched to studying classical music.
