The Metropolitan Wind Symphony Youth Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensemble of Washington

The Levine School of Music Youth and Metropolitan Wind Symphonies & the Levine Jazz Ensemble The Levine School of Music is one of the largest and most prestigious nonprofit community music schools in the nation, offering high-quality instruction and performances for persons of every age, ability and background while encouraging love of music, fostering creative expression and promoting personal enrichment. The schoolÆs four sites in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia offer instrumental and vocal instruction and ensembles as well as classes in theory, history, composition and music technology. Although the core of the schoolÆs curriculum is classical music, Levine celebrates the cultural diversity of the Washington community with programs including African, jazz and contemporary music.
