Diane Zeigler

Diane Zeigler is the winner of six national songwriting awards from the following folk festivals: the 1999 Kerrville Folk Festival, the 1999 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, the 1999 Telluride Troubador contest, the 1991 Napa Valley Folk Festival, the 1991 Columbia River Folk Festival, and the 1991 Sugarbush Folk Festival. Contemporary folk fans will recall her 1995 debut on Rounder/Philo, Sting of the Honeybee, which was met with broad critical praise across the country. After a three-year hiatus from the music scene to give birth to her two children, Zeigler re-emerged on the national folk scene in 1999, picking up where she had left off by winning awards at Kerrville, Rocky Mountain, and Telluride festivals. Zeigler has been featured on many compilation projects including Christine LavinÆs The Stealth Project and Follow That Road, SonÆs Bring It On Home, Club PassimÆs One More Song, MotherÆs Hope, and MP3.comÆs Fenario Project, among others.
