Under the direction of Ms. Joan Rackey for the past 27 years, the Jazz Band has grown from an 8-piece ensemble to a full swing band, consistently winning top honors at the local, state, and national levels. The Jazz Band performs in school as well as out in the community. The Jazz Band is part of Einstein’s Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts, a Montgomery County Public School signature program, available to the five high school clusters within the Down-County Consortium.
