Dancing Wheels

Dancing Wheels is a professional modern dance company comprised of dancers with and without disabilities. The company, which was established in 1980 by founding director and principal dancer Mary Verdi-Fletcher, is recognized as a pioneer in the field of integrated dance. Over the span of nearly 20 years, Dancing Wheels has broadened the vision of integrated dance for hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world. In doing so, they have served as a source of inspiration in the development of other integrated dance companies globally. Dancing Wheels has also established strong and longstanding relationships during its tenure with such prestigious arts organizations as Playhouse Square Center and the Cleveland San Jose Ballet.
