The Playground

The PlayGround is a movement based improvisational performance group that works collaboratively to create and perform dynamic works that celebrate the uniqueness of the individual and develops awareness in the beauty of spontaneity. By combining the formalism of choreography and the immediacy of improvisation the work challenges audiences’ assumptions and yet remains remarkably accessible. Improvisation is a necessary tool that every human needs daily and uses minute by minute; this unique group of performers explore, magnify and accentuate these skills. In these difficult and often disparate times, The PlayGround is an affirmation in the ability of individuals to spontaneously collaborate in the creation of unity, cooperation and beauty.
